THINK TANK
New Green Vision è un laboratorio di idee attivo a livello nazionale, con un particolare focus sul Nord-Est Italia. Aggrega cittadini, sostenitori ed esperti, sensibili alle tematiche ambientali, che intendono distinguersi per un approccio scientifico e pragmatico, distante dalle politiche ambientaliste ideologiche e dogmatiche.
Nasce nel 2018 come tavolo di lavoro della Sustainable Economy Association sul tema del greenwashing in economia e in politica. Si evolve successivamente con l'ampliamento del suo comitato scientifico ad esperti provenienti da diversi settori economici ponendosi come punto di riferimento per esperti e appassionati sul tema dello sviluppo economico sostenibile basato sull'innovazione tecnologica contrapposto alle teorie della decrescita economica verde che si stanno diffondendo in Italia e in Europa.
Complex problems don't have to be simplified !
In today's globalized world, social, ecological and economic problems are intertwined with each other, creating a complex design that cannot be addressed with simplified and spectacular solutions as we often see in the media, in companies but also within institutions. New Green Vision was born precisely with the aim of counteracting the growing approximation linked to traditional environmentalism, public communication and advocacy based on real economic and scientific data, with particular attention to the impact and consequences of the proposals put forward.
Sustainable development or Ideological Environmentalism?
Degrowth is not a solution.
The theory of economic degrowth promoted by most environmentalists cannot be considered an acceptable strategy for the ecological transition.

The man in the center Planet earth existed before the advent of man and will exist even after his extinction. It is not the planet that is in danger but it is the human being who, victim of his own choices, becomes a danger to himself.

In a globalized market where companies and politicians compete every day in their respective fields for market and electorate slices with slogans, identifying and unmasking greenwashing becomes a priority today more than ever as protection for consumers, citizens and voters.
#Greenwashing in economics Non-economic reporting, decarbonisation of production processes and increasingly "green" marketing campaigns: these trends can lead to both positive actions for the environment in the case of a real environmental commitment and actions of unfair competition in the case of superficial promises.
#Greenwashing in politics Showing closeness to environmental struggles allows politicians, governments and local administrations to win the sympathy of an ever-increasing portion of the electorate. However, these positions and slogans do not always correspond to real commitment.

Active citizens in action: do you have an innovative proposal for the sustainable development of your territory? You can upload it to the appropriate communication area. It will be taken over and evaluated by our scientific committee.
Open innovation: our scientific committee meets monthly to organize activities, evaluate ideas and discuss initiatives. The best of the proposals uploaded by supporters to our cloud will be able to become part of our program.
Communication and advocacy: we involve the most active supporters with the most valid contents in the drafting of policy documents, position papers, in the organization of conferences and interviews.
